One of the custom 9.6 volt NiCad batteries is visible here inside the battery compartment door.
This is one of six idler wheels that comprise the film-wrap mechanism. It insures that the film is in the proper film plane and is in full contact with the drive rollers that move the film through the camera
A ground glass previewing screen is carried on the same removable bracket as the film-wrap arms. Prior to loading film into the camera, a panel can be removed from the back of the film compartment cover to allow viewing of the image through the lens. The base drive mechanism allows the camera to be freely turned in a clockwise direction for this purpose.
This camera uses 5 inch film specially ordered from Kodak. A set of custom 5 inch quick change reels with light-tight canisters was designed and built for the camera.
A specially designed, quick-change spindle system was built into the camera. The knob seen here is used to release the custom 5 inch film reel from the spindle.
